Remove and re-establish forced main under the Snake River. Previous line floated and broke in July 2008 allowing 60,000 gallons of raw sewage to flow into the Snake River daily. Scope of work included establishing traffic control between Jackson and Wilson across Snake River Bridge, remove rip rap on levy per Army Corps of Engineers specifications, removal of temporary jetty, and re-route the Snake River temporarily. Excavate and place 900 lineal feet of 12” HDPE, excavate and place 1800 feet of 8” HDPE, excavate through the levy of the Snake River, and remove and replace clay core on river levy per Army Corps of Engineers specifications. Replace rip rap on levy per Army Corps of Engineers specifications, re-connect new forced main and restore lift station operation, remove 8” temporary forced main across Snake River Bridge and restore boat ramp and road. All pipe was installed on grade under 14 feet of water with anchor blocks attached every 10 feet.   Contract Amount:  $436,419
